Undergraduate programs include: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Studio Art, Bachelor of Science (BS) in Studio Art, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communication Design, Bachelor of Science (BS) in Design (Visual Communication Design), and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Art Education. Graduate programs include: Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) in Art Education and Master of Science in Creative Arts Therapy (Art Therapy program - see College of Interprofessional Health and Human Services).
Studio majors (BFA and BS) must choose an area of emphasis in the following disciplines: Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics or Metals.
The Art and Design Department also offers a five-year dual degree, Bachelor of Science-Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.), an Initial Certification Master’s Degree in Art Education and a Professional Certification Master’s degree in Art Education.
