NSG 301L - Foundations of Transcultural Nursing Lab

Students in this course explore and develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to provide culturally competent nursing care. Therapeutic communication, teaching-learning principles, and the nursing process are central aspects of the course. Course codes: AFH. Prereq: NSG 201, NSG 208, NSG 209, NSG 210. Coreq: NSG 301. Additional course fee required. Clinical site off campus. Students must present evidence of compliance with hospital requirements by the dates outlined in the student handbook. Clinical Placements at Rochester Area Hospitals/Agencies.
