ADOL 476 - Designing and Maintaining Positive Learning Environments

An examination of theoretical models relative to motivation and classroom management. Focuses on practical approaches for designing and maintaining positive learning environments in inclusive middle and high school classrooms. Course Codes: HM. Prerequisites: ADOL*410, SPF*204. Corequisite: DEPT*457. Open only to Inclusive Adolescence Education students. Currently a Fall offering, but will switch to Spring term beginning 2023; will include 15 hours of required Field Experience in schools beginning 2023.
