ACS 101 - Academic and College Success The transition to college marks an exciting time in students’ lives that can also be stressful at times. ACS 101 is designed to help students successfully navigate this transition. Students learn about the history of Nazareth and the changemaking legacy of its founders. They are invited to reflect on and develop their own vision for changemaking, big or small, and how that vision informs their plans for making the most of their time at Naz. In doing so, students explore the many services and opportunities available at Naz, learn about concepts such as growth mindset and design thinking, hone skills such as time and stress management, and develop understanding of what it means to be an active member of a community of belonging. Chair approval required.
