TSL 666 - TESOL Methods and Materials

Theoretical approaches, methods, and materials for teaching all aspects of English - reading, writing, listening, and speaking - to students who speak other languages. The development of English language skills through and with content area concepts in mathematics, science, and social studies will be explored. Emphasis will be on planning and instruction as well as professional development and collaboration. A substantial field experience of at least two days or the equivalent in an educational setting serving English Language Learners is a required component of this course.
