TSL 662 - Cross-Cultural Abilities/Awareness in Curriculum Design

Considers New York State and TESOL standards for English Language Learners. Explores curricula and changing expectations of public education. Students will develop a research-based curriculum project with focus on content, materials, community resources, attitudes, and behavior related to culturally and linguistically diverse students. A substantial field experience of at least two days or the equivalent in a educational setting serving English Language Learners is a required component of this course.
