EDTS 600 - Introduction to Programming

Emphasizes the computer as a tool for problem solving; provides hands on experience for minimal competence in elementary computer program design and implementation of application in specialized fields of study, e.g., science, business, etc.; uses common algorithms and programming techniques in particular fields; introduces the concepts of top down design and control structures. The languages of instruction are C++ and Java.
