RES 327 - PII Sacred Literature of India


(Perspectives II course) An in-depth reading of selected sacred texts drawn from the tapestry of religious traditions in India with an emphasis upon those of Hinduism.  To enhance our reading of primary texts, we will draw upon analytical perspectives developed in the social sciences, cultural studies, and related disciplines.
