CSD 579 - Introduction to Cognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Injury

Introduction to the pathophysiology and rehabilitation of cognitive deficits in common types of brain injury, especially traumatic brain injury. Includes an overview of the cognitive science and neuroanatomical underpinnings of attention, working memory, memory and executive functions. Treatment planning and goal setting methods, as well as specific cognitive interventions to address various cognitive deficits will be addressed.
