COMM 510 - Gender, Sexuality, and the Media: Theories and Methods Utilizing a critical/cultural studies approach fused with media theory, in this graduate level course students will examine the intersection of contemporary media and the theoretical models associated with feminism, queer theory, masculinity, the notion of the erotic, and identity in order to analyze the intertwining roles of the media and our constructions of gender, sexuality, and sexual orientation.
