PSC 317 - PII Modern Political Philosophy (Perspective II Course) This course examines major figures in modern political philosophy, addressing such issues as the origins of government, private property, and the market, as well as the ideals of individual liberty, equality, and toleration. Readings include selections from Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Smith, Burke, Mill, Wollstonecraft, and Marx. Course Codes: BR. Prereq: PEQ in Social Sciences or HIS.Q 103 and PHL.Q 101.
