(Perspectives II Global Course) An introductory study of the countries of the Middle East that border or are near the Mediterranean Sea including Egypt, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey. We will study the historical, religious and political background of this region. Special attention given to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Course Codes: BR.
