ENGL 310 - Writing England’s Century of Revolution: Seventeenth-Century Literature


The 1600s saw the English experimenting with politics, religion, and science. This course studies the diverse literary styles and genres that reflected this experimental spirit: devotional poems; sermons; carpe diem lyrics; revenge tragedies; utopian fictions; and more.
