PTR 710 - Professional Issues IV: Physical Therapy Practice Management The fourth course in a series of five courses related to professional issues prepares the student to manage physical therapy practice in a contemporary environment. Theories and principles of leadership and management are utilized to guide and evaluate the provision of physical therapy services. Topics addressed include: human resource management, financial planning, budgeting, understanding of payment for services, continuous quality improvement (CQI), managing risk, and marketing strategies. An understanding of individual interpersonal styles and how each style interacts with others is addressed in this course.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses.
