HIS 343 - 20th Century Us History Through Video Games


This course examines the history of the United States in the 20th Century through an examination of video games, both commercial and educational. The course will require readings and research into the development of select video games and a critical analysis of historical interpretations utilized in various games. Students will conduct research projects at the Strong National Museum of Play.
