SWK 300G - Diversity, Opression, and Justice (Global Course) Analyzes the processes of oppression including the experiences, needs, resources, and responses of people subjected to institutionalized forms of oppression due to collective characteristics on national and global levels. Analyzes relevant theory and research to facilitate growth in personal understanding of self, diversity, and oppression in society as well as a commitment to being an engaged and proactive citizen. Students critically evaluate personal assumptions about a range of topics and groups, reflecting on intersections with oppression in our global community.
