PSY 251 - Psychology of Gender

(DEIB) This course introduces students to the psychological literature on sex and gender. Topics include an analysis of sex differences and similarities in abilities and personalities related to gender, the influence of gender roles on psychological and physical health, portrayals of gender in the media, violence in the lives of women and girls, and applied gender-related issues.
