The first in a sequence of two foundational laboratory courses in the structure and function of the human body. A systems level approach is used to study general histology, and integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. The laboratory reinforces the principles learned in lecture with hands-on experiences in human physiology using state-of-the-art digital instrumentation, computer simulations, and animal/human dissection. Note: In keeping with New York State Department of Health Regulations, one section of BIO 150L each semester will be designated for students who are not enrolled in allied health profession majors or minors, and will not include a human dissection component.
