GEO.Q 102 - Cultural Geography


(Perspectives Enduring Questions) What is the relationship between culture and place? Does globalization pull us together, or fling us apart? This course explores these questions by studying the methods, concepts, and theories used in geography to examine such topics as demography, cultural and linguistic diffusion, religion, settlement systems, urban and rural land use, energy use, and environmental degradation and sustainability.
