ENGL.Q 120 - The Ethical Life

What does it mean to be good or to not be good? What is justice and acting justly? How does the individual act ethically in relationship to other individuals? Groups? Animals or other non-humans? Students will emerge from the course able to discuss enduring questions about the Ethical Life through exposure to and practice of the fundamental concepts and skills of literary analysis.
