RES 340 - PII Jesus Today: The Man, The Mystery, The Message

(Perspectives II course) The person, teachings and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. Biblical, historical, and contemporary understandings and images of Jesus in text and creed, prayer and worship, life and art. Special topics: Jesus as culture hero; images of Jesus in film and literature; Jesus in the world’s religions, Jesus in contemporary theologies.
