OTR 430 - Health Policy and Administration

A historical and contemporary overview of the nature, organization, and functions of health care in the US is provided. Cultural, political, social, legal, economic, policy, and ethical issues in delivering services are emphasized. Leadership and management in various environments are examined. An overview of electronic healthcare information systems is included.
