MTHA 322 - Choreography - Theories of Dance Composition I An introduction to the art of choreography. Students will learn the tools, principles and theories of dance composition through short solo works. Through assignments (crafting, reading, viewing, listening) students will expand their knowledge of musical composers, choreographers and choreographic methods. The class will gain experience in not only developing and editing their own work, but also in responding to the art created by others.
Prerequisites & Notes Course codes: ABR. Prereq: THA 105 or MTHA 310. Normal Offering Cycle: Spring.
