MTH 110 - Precalculus Precalculus is designed to prepare the student knowledgeable in algebra for Calculus I. The central theme is families of functions as models of change. Topics include analytic geometry, trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and rational functions and relations. Multiple representations of functions (numerical, graphical, symbolic and verbal) are integrated throughout the course.
Prerequisites & Notes Course Codes: BR. Prereq: 3 years Regents level mathematics (algebra, geometry, algebra 2/trigonometry). TI-83 or TI-84 calculator required, rentals available. Other calculators may be used with permission of the instructor. Normal Offering Cycle: Fall.
