BIO 237 - Animal Physiology


An in-depth study of the function of vertebrate organisms with some emphasis on select invertebrate systems. Includes the basic physiological mechanisms involved in the maintenance of both cellular and organ-system homeostasis in vertebrates.

Prerequisites & Notes
Course Codes: FHR. Prereq: BIO.Q 103, BIO.Q 103L, BIO 104, BIO 104L, and CHM*140, CHM*140L, CHM*225, CHM*226L or CHM 145, CHM 146L, CHM 147, CHM 148L, or equivalent completed with a grade of C- or Better taken within the last 5 years. Coreq: BIO 237L. Required for all Pre-Dental, Pre-Medical, and Pre-Veterinary students also enrolled in the Biology major. Normal Offering Cycle: Spring.
