CSD 596 - Listening and Spoken Language II: Transition to School and Emergent Literacy This course will explore speech and language development of DHOH students from preschool through grade school. The following will be addressed: language and literacy assessment and instruction; influence of spoken English, sign language, and cued speech on literacy development; and individual differences related to disability and cultural and linguistic diversity.
