NSG 337L - Maternity and Women’s Health Care Lab Concentrates on the nursing care of women from menarche to menopause with a primary focus on childbearing. Basic concepts of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum will be addressed. The application of a transcultural nursing process in family-centered childbirth, women’s health promotion, risk reduction and prevention will be studied.
Prerequisites & Notes Adv Codes: A Coreq: NSG 337 Pre-req: BIO 151/151l, NSG 209, NSG 329/329L, NSG 301/301L or LPN license and successful completion of challenge examination. Clinical assignment is off campus.
