INCH 372 - Developmentally Appropriate Strategies For Reading in the Content Areas

This course is designed to build students’ understandings of developmentally appropriate literacy strategies in the content areas, including multiple strategies for teaching all students. Students will learn about intervention and support strategies for learners experiencing difficulties. (Must be taken concurrently with INCH 360). 45 total hours of required fieldwork; school observation and participation are integral components of the course.

Prerequisites & Notes
Adv Codes: FL Prereq: INCH 355, INCH 370 Coreq: INCH 360 2-3 hours/week of field experience required. Student must provide own transportation, allow for travel time. Formerly INCL 372. Normal Offering Cycle: Spring
