PTR 635 - Clinical Education II

This is a full time, supervised clinical education

experience provided in an approved agency.

Supervision is provided by a licensed physical

therapist. The goal of this experience is to have

students manage a varety of patients using the

“Guide to Practice” in examination, evaluation,

documentation, goal setting, intervention, and

discharge planning. Students should also

demonstrate “developing level” behavior criteria

in regards to generic abilities. The student is

required to continue the portfolio regarding the

clinical experience. This course and PTR 636 may

be combined into a longer experience, upon

approval of hte Director of Clinical Education.
