MUS 205 - PII Women in Music (Perspectives II course) A historically-based discussion of female composers, performers, and patrons from the Middle Ages to the present day. A wide variety of styles, genres, and cultural themes will be discussed, including the impact of Women’s Studies on music-making and music history.Coursework will consist of class discussion, listening and repertoire identification, class presentations, and one research paper.
