PSY 231 - Behavior Modification Students are introduced to the theory and practice of Behavior Modification, or Applied Behavior Analysis. Applications in education, parenting, self-control are emphasized, as are clinical, therapeutic contexts, as well as standard daily uses in the home and workplace. Students will practice numerous basic behavioral techniques, such as positive and negative reinforcement schedules, shaping, chaining, and discrimination training.
