EDU 670 - Transition Services for Adolescents

An overview of the impact of disabilities on the functioning of adolescents who are mentally retarded, learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, or physically disabled. Programs regarding post-secondary training, employment, residence facilities, social-emotional needs, and vocational rehabilitation will be explored. Legal issues dealing with adolescents as well as the impact on their families will be examined.
