LTED 609 - Linguistics and Language Acquisition for The Literacy Specialist

This course focuses on how language works and how knowledge of how its functions support the language user. Stressing communication as the purpose of language, both spoken and written, the course content presents what the teacher needs to know to help students grow as language users and consumers, as well as how to enhance and enrich their grasp of language. This course will address the needs of first and second language learners. Open to Literacy Program students only.
