SLH 545 - Introduction to Medical Speech-Language Pathology This course will introduce students to concepts and skills needed to work as an SLP in the medical setting, including an overview of working with patients across the lifespan and across a variety of medical settings. Topics will include basic medical terminology, diagnoses, levels of care, the lifespan continuum, documentation, and billing. Opportunities for observation will be facilitated.
Prerequisites & Notes Term cycle: fall. Yearly cycle: all years.
