Nazareth fosters integrated learning through action and reflection, educating whole persons who are guided by empathy, committed to equity, and prepared to lead innovation for our time.
To carry out that mission, Nazareth University offers graduate programs that promote academic excellence in the preparation of professionals who are leaders in the local and global communities through educational and experiential opportunities, and individualized support.
Nazareth began its current graduate programs in 1971. Today, graduate students can choose from dozens of degree programs within the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, Business, and Education, the College of Interprofessional Health and Human Services, and the College of Visual and Performing Arts and Design. Nazareth University’s experiential approach to learning and leading gives its students a balance of classroom knowledge and authentic application. Through field work, clinical experiences, student teaching, internships, service learning and alternative-break trips, students are encouraged to view their careers from multiple perspectives and apply their skills to making a difference in their community.
True to the vision of its founders, Nazareth University has remained a learning center committed to such academic, cultural and social justice experiences that enable its students to define their life’s work in a holistic way, and to accelerate their position in their chosen life’s work.
