HIS 613 - Natural Disasters in American Society

This course examines extreme events to reveal the inner dynamics of American society and its political system. Learners will explore how natural disasters illuminate and reshape social structures and act as a focusing event for public policy. Cross-listed with HIS*413 and PSC*413.
