PTR 660 - Clinical Management of Pediatric Clients This course prepares students to address individuals’ needs from birth through young adulthood. Principles of human development are presented with an emphasis on the development of postural control, movement, and skill acquisition. Students will examine management of common pediatric diagnoses and how they affect function across settings. The ICF model serves as a framework to guide clinical examination, clinical decision-making, and development of comprehensive plans of care. Lab experiences will include community engagement and provide opportunities to apply course content. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses. Corequisite: PTR*660L.
