HIS 356 - Feast and Famine: Medieval Food History


This course will explore all the fascinating ways that food, or the lack thereof, played a role in life in Medieval and Early Modern Europe. We will explore food cultures broadly, looking at feasting, farming, famine conditions, deviant eating and disordered eating, and everything in between. Course Codes: BR. Prereq: PEQ in History.
