HIS 354 - Medieval World History A History of Social Control


Medieval World History is a course designed to introduce upper-division students to the history of the global history of the Middle Ages, including not only Europe, but Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Besides tracing a basic historical narrative, we will explore themes such as the rise of civilizations, contacts of culture, social and religious conflicts, and class, gender, and racial power dynamics.
