HIS 340 - History of Sports and Recreation

(DEIB) In this class, we will examine the history of sports, globalization and the sports industry, nationalism and imperialism, as well as the intersections of sports and race, gender, and class. This course, which places athletes at the center of scholarly inquiry, weaves together a global and local history of sport and recreation. Course Codes: BR. Prereq: PEQ in History.
