HIS 365 - A History of Witchcraft


This course will cover the history of magic, witchcraft, and the occult throughout world history. The course will focus on the ways that gender, power, and agency play out in the treatment - or persecution - of people accused of witchcraft. While we will learn much about the historical context of witchcraft throughout time, we will work to develop the skills and tools used by historians. Course Code: R.
