MUB 481 - Crafting Your Path: Career Building for the Insightful Artist


This course is for creators and facilitators of all artistic modalities who want to build sustainable, joyful careers that reflect their creative identity. Students will develop core career tools while also exploring the personal values, instincts, and strengths that shape an artist’s path. In the course students explore funding avenues available to them in their disciplines and draft a funding proposal for a real or imagined project. They develop the tools to turn creative ideas into realistic and persuasive proposals that resonate with potential funders. The course will equip students with the confidence they need to bring creative projects to life. Junior or Senior status or permission of the instructor. Cross-listed with MUS*581.
