MTHA 420 - The Pop/Rock Audition - Musical Theatre Workshop I

This Musical Theatre Workshop teaches the student how to prepare and perform pop/rock material for the Musical Theatre audition room. Together, we will seek to understand the style and context of the material, while illuminating and interpreting it against the backdrop of the socio-political era from which the music stems. Historical context, stage presence, vocal qualities and musicality are important components of our work together. Course Codes: ACS. Prerequisites: MTHA*260 and MTHA*360.
