NSG 405 - Medical-Surgical Nursing III


Course is an advanced course in medical-surgical nursing, designed to prepare students for the management of patients with acute, complex, and multi-system conditions. Course provides in-depth coverage of all major body systems in an adult patient. Special focus placed on burn, emergency and end of life care. Students will learn to apply advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices. Course Codes: AF. Prerequisites: NSG*305/305L or NSG*403/403L (starting 28/SP). Minimum grade C. Corequisite: NSG*400 or NSG*402 (starting 28/SP). Additional course fee required.
