NSG 303 - Medical Surgical Nursing I


Course focuses on foundational concepts of medical-surgical nursing with emphasis on care of patients with common conditions affecting cardiac, respiratory, renal, and male reproductive systems. Students will expand upon pathophysiology and assessment techniques while developing evidence-based interventions for these systems. Emphasis placed on promoting optimal health, previous complications and ensuring safe care. Course codes: AF. Prerequisites: NSG*301/301L, minimum grade C. Corequisites: NSG*302, 303L.
