Provides trauma overview, including theoretical influences, definitions, diagnostic criteria, causes and consequences. Analyzes trauma impacts across systems levels. Explores neurobiology and outcomes in context of psychological, social, and developmental processes. Addresses experiences of various populations, recognizing protective factors and resiliency while promoting cultural humility.
