Return to: ACADEMIC PROGRAMS A-Z
The biology department believes that students planning to teach high school biology, which can include Advanced Placement courses, should have the same academic training as students preparing to become professional biologists. Therefore, the student in the biology adolescence education program has the same science curriculum as the biology major. Student teaching will be completed in the fall of senior year.
All biology department courses for the major programs must be completed with a grade of C- or better to satisfy the program requirements.
