AHI 391G - Painting Practices and Techniques From Workshops in Europe, Russia, Persia and Asia


Students will study drawing and painting techniques practiced by European Medieval and Renaissance painters, Russian Icons writers, Persian manuscript illuminators and Asian black ink masters. In addition to learning about the art as a reflection of the culture in which it was produced, students will learn to use these traditional materials and will practice the various techniques.
