(PEQ Visual Performing Arts) What role does photographic imagery play in our lives? History of Photography is a survey of the photographic medium from the 1830s through the present. Areas to be explored include the first photographic processes, ways in which the medium has been used, and how meaning is derived from photographic imagery in light of aesthetic, social and cultural trends.
