Nazareth offers the only bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in New York State, leading to certification, in-demand jobs, and a meaningful, impactful career. Nazareth’s Bachelor of Science ABA program was developed in partnership with Mary Cariola Center, a school and residential program for individuals with multiple and complex disabilities. With a focus on interprofessional collaboration with other disciplines, Nazareth University leads the way towards more effective applications of Behavior Analysis. This major is grounded in the science of human behavior, with a strong emphasis on ethical, compassionate, and interprofessional practice that promotes the dignity and empowerment of people with disabilities. This program prepares students to work effectively on teams with individuals across the lifespan, particularly people with autism, developmental disabilities, and complex behavioral needs.
